We are a couple from the Netherlands with both our history in failing love. My partner Thijs and I met via a dating app and he asked me if I was interested. It was really vulnerable and tough, I decided to meet. Our first date was on a Christmas market in Munster (Germany). We directly had an instant connection and fell in love so after 4 months in a relationship he proposed to me on the Greek Island Crete on my birthday.
We now live together in our new bought home in Hengelo with 50% of the time the kids from Thijs. Thijs immediately understood that, since I don’t have children and have a big dream of getting married, he really wanted to help make that wish come true as soon as possible. I’m 40 now, and Thijs is 42 — the perfect age to spend the rest of our lives together! We are so grateful for each other and remain open and vulnerable with one another.

It is a comfy place where everybody will feel comfortable. We walk a lot with our dog and go for dinner or drinks there. So for us the location feels good and we like the people and ambiance there.
